“As long as it involves data.” Kenneth Temmerman has a wide range of interests, but when it comes to work, his true passion is data. So it’s no surprise that he feels right at home at Visser & Van Baars, where data is at the heart of every specialism.
Challenges and opportunities for growth
With more than twelve years of experience in data and Business Intelligence , Kenneth brings a wealth of expertise to the table. Almost three years ago, he successfully joined Visser & Van Baars, one of the four branches of Vibe Group. And he’s still very glad he made the move after nearly a decade at the same employer.
“It was love at first sight with Visser & Van Baars,” Kenneth laughs. “In my previous job, I missed challenges and opportunities to grow. Here, I’ve found both.”
Continuous development
At Visser & Van Baars, Kenneth can fully dive into his favourite topic: data. “That’s great, because it’s what truly interests me. I want to know as much as I can and keep learning all the time,” he says. “If you work in IT—especially in data—you really need that hunger to keep learning. Things evolve so quickly. If you don’t update your knowledge for even a year, you risk falling behind.”
That focus on continuous development is fully supported at Visser & Van Baars. “You’re actively encouraged to take training courses regularly so you can keep growing,” Kenneth explains. “Whether you want to deepen your expertise or head in a new direction, you’ll get support. For example, I enjoy coaching others—and they took that into account from day one. I was already coaching junior consultants in my first month here.”

‘Work hard, play hard’ sums up the company culture well, according to Kenneth. “There’s a strong work ethic, but the organisation also makes sure we regularly get together for fun activities. Sometimes it’s a big event, other times it’s something simple like grabbing dinner or doing an escape room,” he says. “Whatever the activity, the atmosphere is always open and enjoyable.”
