Enterprise Architect - Data & AI ( Permanent )Location: BrusselsEmployment: Permanent, full-timeWorking model: HybridLanguages: English + Dutch or FrenchThe roleFor an international organisation with a complex technology environment, we are looking for an Enterprise Architect with a strong interest in Data, Analytics and AI.You will help shape the future technology landscape by translating business and technology strategy into clear, scalable and sustainable enterprise architectures.You will work at the intersection of business, technology and architecture, collaborating closely with domain and solution architects, engineering teams and senior Business & IT stakeholders.Your responsibilities

• Translate business and technology strategy into enterprise architecture and target-state designs.
• Define and communicate architectural principles, models and standards.
• Develop architectural roadmaps and define the logical sequence of transformation steps.
• Work closely with domain and solution architects across different business and technology areas.
• Collaborate with senior Business and IT stakeholders to align architecture with strategic objectives.
• Develop and communicate architecture solutions towards the target state.
• Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with enterprise standards, security requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Contribute to the evolution of the organisation's Data, Analytics and AI architecture.
• Evaluate existing architectures and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Act as a trusted architectural advisor for complex technology and data-related topics.Your profile
• Master's degree or equivalent level of education.
• 3-5+ years of relevant professional experience in Enterprise, Solution, Domain or IT Architecture.
• Strong affinity with architecture practices and enterprise-level technology challenges.
• Broad knowledge or strong interest in Data & Analytics, including Data Management, Data Governance and Data Technology.
• Knowledge of modern AI developments, including Generative AI, Agentic AI and emerging AI technologies.
• Understanding of data privacy, security and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience with or a strong interest in public cloud, such as Azure or GCP.
• TOGAF, ArchiMate and/or public cloud certifications are a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business-oriented solutions.
• Autonomous, pragmatic and collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French.What we offer
