Database Administrator (Sybase) | Brussels | HybridWe're looking for an experienced Database Administrator with a strong background in Sybase ASE to join a leading healthcare organisation in Brussels. If you enjoy optimising database environments, improving security, and ensuring high availability of business-critical systems, this could be the right opportunity.Your responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Sybase ASE and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Monitor, analyse, and optimise database performance.
• Perform security assessments and strengthen database access controls.
• Investigate and resolve database incidents through root cause analysis.
• Implement best practices to improve stability, performance, and security.
• Work closely with infrastructure and application teams.Your profile
• At least 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of Sybase ASE and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with database performance tuning, monitoring, and security.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Dutch and/or French is considered an asset.What you can expect
