Role Overview:
As a Data Governance Consultant, you will play a crucial role in guiding organizations in establishing and enhancing their data governance frameworks. You will advise clients on policies, processes, and technologies that contribute to better data management, quality, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing data governance frameworks and strategies.
*

Advising on data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and regulatory compliance.
*

Assisting clients in defining roles and responsibilities within data governance.
*

Implementing and optimizing data governance tools such as Collibra, Microsoft Purview, and frameworks like DAMA-DMBOK.
*

Collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to enhance data-driven decision-making.
*

Promoting awareness and securing stakeholder buy-in for data governance within organizations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

*

A master's degree (WO) in a relevant field such as Business IT, Data Science, Business Administration, or Computer Science.
*

At least 3 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related role.
*

Strong knowledge of frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK, GDPR, and other relevant data governance standards.
*

Hands-on experience with data governance tools, including Collibra and Microsoft Purview.
*

Expertise in data quality and data standards within complex organizations.
*

Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise stakeholders at various levels.
*

Analytical mindset, proactive approach, and structured working methodology.
