Power BI Expert

Job Description
For a valued client of Visser & Van Baars, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Power BI Expert to strengthen their dynamic data and BI team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and further developing their Power BI environment. You will work closely with various departments to support data-driven decision-making.

Your Responsibilities:

* Manage the Power BI Environment: Configure, secure, and maintain the Power BI platform.
* Data Management & Modeling: Connect and manage data from diverse sources, including data models and ETL processes.
* Reporting and Dashboards: Design, develop, and implement dashboards and reports.
* Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance the performance of Power BI.
* User Management: Manage access and permissions in compliance with security guidelines.
* Governance: Ensure adherence to policies and best practices.
* Knowledge Sharing: Train and support colleagues with reporting needs.

Your Profile:

* Experience in Power BI development and administration.
* Technical knowledge of Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Proficient in English; Dutch is a plus.
* Certification in Power BI or similar technologies is an advantage.
